Mission

The mission of the Faculty of Architecture and Design is aimed at training high-level professionals, committed to the social, economic and cultural development of the region and the country, capable of facing the new challenges for architecture and design, as well as the development of research and diffusion of culture in areas of knowledge that are its own or related, with a humanistic approach and for a sustainable development that contributes to the improvement of the quality of life of society, within an educational scheme of quality and competitiveness.

Vision

By 2025, the Faculty of Architecture and Design is projected as an academic unit with national and international prestige in the field of teaching architecture and design, with a highly qualified academic staff and value training in accordance with the principles of the institution. They have the recognition of the desirable profile of a university professor and, for the most part, have been assigned to the National System of Researchers. Its educational programs are recognized as of good quality by national and international organizations and its consolidated academic bodies, contributing to the development of the country and the region through its networks with the productive, social, governmental and educational sectors.
