The training stages are made up of 42 required learning units that represent 80% and elective ones that together with laboratory stays represent 20% of flexibility. It also makes it possible to carry out linking projects with external sectors that would grant credits in associated subjects and/or in other academic activities.

A relevant aspect of this curricular structure is constituted by the areas of knowledge, which from the academic point of view obey the grouping of the knowledge of the discipline, which allows better monitoring and quality during the process of acquisition of skills and an adequate both vertical and horizontal integration in the curricular structure, specifically in relation to the guiding axis represented by the design area, since its continuous structure allows the knowledge from other subjects to be integrated in the design exercises that are perform at each stage of training.
